Crickheath and Kinnerley Canter

After last years success and by popular demand we are holding the second

                                        Crickheath and Kinnerley Canter

                                         Sunday 10th June 2018 10am.

It is open to all ages and was great fun last year, everybody supporting each other in glorious Shropshire green fields. 

The run is mainly off road with the 10km, two laps of the 5km race.

Dogs are permitted but must be on a lead at all times and owners assume full responsibility.

There are medals for every runner and prizes for 1st.2nd.3rd, oldest and youngest in each race. There will be a separate prizes for canni-cross runners.

Entries for the 5km race must be over 5 yrs old and accompanied by a responsible adult if under the age of 12. One adult can run with multiple children but please make sure they are of similar ability.

Entries on the day are accepteble but incur a £2 additional charge for the 5km and 10km.

Registration opens at 8.50am

Entries for the 10km must be over 15. 

Entries for the 1.5km can run with or without an adult. 

The 10km and 5km race will start together and the 1.5km shortly afterwards.

Refreshments will be available.

There will be toilets, space to leave bags,sort out on the day entries and collect race numbers and safety pins.

There will be two water stations at 2 and 7km approx.

There will be a guided energetic warm up before the event at approx 9.50am.

Last entries on the day 9.30. 

Runners are advised not to run with headphones.

Expect a few puddles,some roads in the 5km and 10km, maybe the odd cow pat, one hill, some tracks along canal tow paths, some mud and plenty of beautiful scenery with an enthusiastic group of school children to cheer you on at the end. Walk, run sprint...its up to you but just have fun.

 

Prize giving approx 12pm.

The race will go ahead in all weathers so please come dressed appropriately.
