As one of the most competitive industries on the planet, there are some incredible runners out there that are often a great source of inspiration for both beginners and athletes alike. After all, it isn’t easy to make it big in the running industry, so it is only natural to admire those who manage to achieve it. Here at BookitZone, we believe that anybody has the potential to become a great runner and looking up to the best of the best is a brilliant motivator. Read on as we go through the top five…

Mo Farah

Now a regular face on TV advertisements, Mo Farah is one of the best athletes that the UK has ever created. After all, he is said to be the most famous distance runner in the world! With medals to his name in both the 2012 London Olympics and 2016 Rio Olympics, it is hard to deny that Mo Farah is a gifted runner and brilliant athlete.

Usain Bolt

When it comes to the running industry, it is impossible to not hear about Usain Bolt. After all, the Jamaican runner is one of the most well-known athletes in the world! Known as ‘the fastest man on earth’, Bolt has competed in 3 Olympic Games and has an impressive 8 gold medals to his name.

Eliud Kipchoge

In fact, Kipchoge came incredibly close to beating the two-hour marathon world record during the Rio Olympics when he competed in the marathon event and won a gold medal for his efforts!

Allyson Felix

Although men appear to dominate the running industry, Allyson Felix gave an impressive performance at the 2012 London Olympics in the sprinting event. In fact, the American-born athlete left with three gold medals to her name in the 100-metre relay, 200-metre relay and 200-metre individual races!

Meb Keflezighi

Although Keflezighi isn’t exactly new to the running industry, he is certainly one of the most well-known.
