Take on the challenge and run around the scenic Southport marine lake and promenade in this year’s spectacular Seaside 10k. Open to runners of any ability, just have a go and be part of this great atmosphere. Be competitive or just enjoy yourself. Whatever standard of runner you are there’s a place for you. Don’t miss out on this year’s 10th anniversary race. Reserve your place and sign up today!
Both the 10k and the 2k fun run start and finish in Princes Park, Southport, with Asics as the main sponsor.
Everybody taking part in the 10k receives a race T shirt and souvenir medal plus goody bag. The Ocean Plaza hotel will provide their facilities for baggage storage and refreshments.
On site will be Wigwam Running Socks, Sarah Hall sports massage, High 5 Sports nutrition and Cafe Adore. Another big day for running in Southport. We hope you can join us!
The 10k Starts at 11:00am. The Fun Run starts at 10:00am.
Event Terms
Participants accept that event participation is only for persons with a high degree of physical fitness and who have undertaken an appropriate training regime. It is your responsibility to seek appropriate medical advice prior to participation. Participation in the event is entirely at your own risk and by entering the event participants acknowledge that those involved in the organisation and staging of the event shall not be liable for death, injury, loss or damage arising from participation in the event save to the extent that it is caused by their negligence.
Young Participants
The consent of a parent or legal guardian shall be required in respect of any participant under the age of 18 in the following terms:
My child is in good health and I consider them capable of taking part in the Seaside 10k or 2k Fun Run.
I consent that in the event of an emergency any necessary treatment can be administered to my child, which may include the use of anaesthetics.
I understand that while the event organisers, their employees, event officials, authorised agents, sub-contractors and volunteers will take reasonable precautions to ensure accidents do not happen, they cannot necessarily be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury suffered by my child.

The last date for posting your race pack/number has now passed. You will now collect this at the venue on the day of the event. Please arrive in good time.
