Northern Police Cross Country League - 2021/2022 Season
We have now implimented an entry system for the well established Northern Police Cross Country League.
There are now 12 Fixtures planned for 2021/2022. This includes the PSUK Nationals that may be included as one of the 11 counting fixtures.
The cost to enter all 12 is £1 per race! Police Forces sports Clubs will also contribute toward their own host races direct.These costs will go toward prizes and an end of season memento.
This new 'pre-entry process' was initially implemented due to COVID19. It is felt that we should operate an online entry system to ensure the numbers attending are controlled and audited. However, COVID aside, we now feel the concept is much better as it allows more advance control over numbers and the event budget.
They all start at 1.30pm on a Wednesday. This mid-week time is best suited to Police Staff that has been successful for countless years.
There are two entry fees available:
- £10 for up to 12 fixtures
- £6 for up to 6 Fixtures
Entries for just 'ONE' fixture can be made on the day of the race costing £2 payable on arrival. This exception is for runners who may just be doing only one fixture only such as their own host event. If you intend to do more than one then we would prefer you to opt for the SIX fixture option.

Fixture 2 - 20 October 2021 - Cheshire
Fixture 3 – 3 November 2021 - Lancashire
Fixture 4 – 17 November 2021 - Cumbria
Fixture 5 – 1 December 2021 - South Yorkshire
Fixture 6 - 15 December 2021 – Derbyshire (Midlands League)
Fixture 7 - 12 January 2021 – Staffordshire (Midlands League)
Fixture 8 – 19 January 2022 - West Yorkshire
Fixture 9 – 9 February 2022 - Merseyside
Fixture 10 – 23 February 2022 - Cleveland
Fixture 11 – 16 March 2022 - PSUK National - Humberside (Additional Entry Fee Required)
Fixture 12 – 30 March 2022 - GMP

Precise locations of all events will be notified via the www.npccl.co.uk website.
Routes
Details of the routes will appear on the Northern Police Cross Country League website soon. They will all be circa 5 - 6 miles. The terrian will be off-road trail suited to trail shoes.
Navigation
All course will be marked and easy to navigate by small flags, tape or markers.
Entry
The races are closed and open only to members of UK Police Forces and their family members. We will admit guests of Police Members who have already entered.
We are considering allowing 'Services' members to this League - Civil, Armed, Fire, NHS, Prison. Contact us if you wish to enter as a Guest member this season if you are a Service member.
Car Parking, Toilets, Changing and Showers
Each venue will differ. All will have car parking and toilets. Some will have changing and showers. Please chec the NPCCL website for details.
Post Race Refreshments
Our race hosts hope to put on some post-race light refreshments at most of our races.
Season Prizes
Prizes will be awarded at the end of the season at Fixture 10. These will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd male, female, veteran and Force Team positions as well as other prizes.

Event Terms
Please enter me for the above event. I accept that the organiser will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, cost or expenses which may arise in the consequence of my participation in or attendance to this event.
I declare that I will not attend unless I am in good health on the day of the event and accept that I attend at my own risk. In the unlikely event of abandonment or cancellation, all or part of my entry fee may be retained for the management and administration of the event. No refunds allowed but an entry may be transferred to another police runner. .
