Marathon - Half Marathon - Family Fun Run

April 19th 2015 Huddersfield Marathon (incorporating a half Marathon and fun run too), as possibly the toughest road marathon/half marathon in the UK it is set to be one of the "must-do" events of the year again!

The route is challenging, hilly, it is Huddersfield. This is no ordinary marathon. It is a unique, bespoke, family event with the option of a half marathon and family fun run.

The Fun

There will be a family fun run with a whole lot of other activities to keep your supporters happy

The Food

Our catering comes from the YMCA catering facilities, cafe and bar.

The Charity

Our charity partner is our local charity The Laura Crane Trust and they will be handing you out your finishers bags containing your t-shirt and a bag stuffed full of running related goodies.

Entry

In order to keep this marathon special entries are restricted to 1000 for the 2015 Marathon this is split up between;

Full marathon places (500), 1/2 marathon places (400) and 4 person relay team places, so enter soon to avoid disappointment!

Early bird entry discount is available until the 1st February 2015.

- Marathon £25.00

- Half Marathon £20.00

- Four person relay team £100.00

- Family Fun Run £3.00 (enter on the day, goody bags and medals for all)

Participants enter the event entirely at their own risk: We shall not be liable for any injury or loss occurring as a result of participation (including, without limitation, resulting from negligence), provided always that nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury resulting from the event organiser’s negligence or for any other type of liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. Medical Conditions: It is recommended that you prepare and train for this event. Please consult your doctor for a check-up if you have not exercised for some time. If you have a medical condition it must be detailed on the reverse of your race number provided. Also, we strongly advise that you seek medical advice before participating in this event and that you disclose to those medical advisors the nature of this event.
