THIS EVENT HAS A NO DEFERRALS POLICY.
In the midst of the pandemic, we did offer event deferrals to the following year - HOWEVER the event is back to its usual May date, and we are no longer offering deferrals for any reason.
Transfers Policy:
You will be able to perform a transfer of your place to another runner from March 2023 onwards and not before. The last cutoff date for transfer requests for those that chose to have their number posted to them is 16th April 2023. After this date you will only be able to perform a transfer on the day of the event at race HQ and will need to physically pass on the number received in the post to the new runner who will need to bring this along on the day.
The last cutoff date for transfers for those that chose to collect their number at the event is [date will follow]. After this date you will only be able to perform a transfer on the day of the event at race HQ. The new runner will be required to give the original runner name at registration and complete a short transfer form to swap the number to their own name.
** VERY IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ FULLY **
WE OFTEN HAVE MANY PEOPLE UNFAIRLY BOOKING MULTIPLE PLACES IN THEIR OWN NAME - WITH THE INTENTION OF 'RESERVING' THESE PLACES FOR THEIR FRIENDS IN CASE THEY DON'T MANAGE TO SECURE A PLACE THEMSELVES.
THIS RESULTS NOT ONLY IN MANY GENUINE ENTRANTS MISSING OUT ON A PLACE BUT ALSO CAUSES HUNDREDS OF UN-NECESSARY TRANSFER REQUESTS - WHICH IS A HUGE ADMINISTRATIVE BURDEN AND IS UNACCEPTABLE.

THERE SHOULD BE NO REASON FOR ANY INDIVIDUAL TO RUN USING SOMEBODY ELSES NUMBER. DOING SO AFFECTS THE RESULTS AND THE PRIZES AND CAUSES MANY PROBLEMS FOR THE ORGANISERS, MEDICAL STAFF AND RESULTS TEAM!!
IN FAIRNESS TO OTHER RUNNERS AND IN THE INTERESTS OF THOSE WORKING HARD TO MAKE THE EVENT A SUCCESS, WE WILL NOT HESITATE TO DISQUALIFY ANYONE FOUND TO BE RUNNING USING ANOTHER PERSONS NUMBER WHERE AN OFFICIAL TRANSFER HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED PRIOR TO THE RACE.
STRICTLY NO HEADPHONES / EARPHONES / MP3 PLAYERS / MUSIC DEVICES / BONE CONDUCTORS ETC OF ANY KIND - USING SUCH DEVICES WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION.
DISQUALIFICATION MEANS NO TIME, NO PRIZE, NO TSHIRT, NO GOODIE BAG!

I understand that this event operates a NO REFUNDS and NO DEFERRALS policy. (If you are concerned about not being able to attend we recommend you take out your own Event Ticket Protection Insurance prior to entry.)
Please enter me for the above event. I accept that the organiser will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, cost or expenses which may arise in the consequence of my participation in or attendance to this event. I declare that I will not attend unless I am in good health on the day of the event and accept that I attend at my own risk. In the unlikely event of abandonment or cancellation, all or part of my entry fee may be retained for the management and administration of the event. No refunds allowed. No Deferrals allowed. A chargeable transfer procedure will become available nearer the event date. STRICTLY NO HEADPHONES / EARPHONES / MP3 PLAYERS / MUSIC DEVICES ETC OF ANY KIND - USING SUCH DEVICES WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION.
