Please ensure that you run safely and comply with any social distancing guidance in place.

If you would like any support with tracking your run or any training tips, please email and we will be happy to help :)

Wythenshawe Community Initiative provide a variety of services for children and families in Wythenshawe.

Wythenshawe Child Contact Centre offers a neutral and welcoming environment for children and adults experiencing a difficult family break up.

We provide services to ensure parents and other family members can continue to see their children and support families to eventually come to their own independent arrangements.

Central to all our work is the principle that the child is at the centre at all times and has the right to maintain a positive relationship with both parents, regardless of their relationship with each other (unless there is a risk of harm).

The Play Service provides free, open access play focused projects for children and young people aged 5 - 13 yrs.  The service enriches children's play by providing skilled play and youth workers and focused projects /schemes. By recognising children's right to play we aim for a community that embraces children, giving them space to play freely and providing them with the choice to access any required support to improve their quality of life and allow them to play independantly.

Our services would not run without the valuable support of a variety of funders who include:

Manchester City Council

The Garfield Weston Foundation

The Zochonis Charitable Fund

Young Manchester

GMP Giving Back Fund
