Event Description

POPPY PLOD

Our Poppy Plod Virtual Challenge is brand new for 2022.

On the second Sunday in November, weunite as a nation and remember the fallen heroes who scarified their lives for their country. To honour our veterans, The Running Bug are pleased to introduce the Poppy Plod.

On Sunday, 13th November wear a poppy with pride whilst ploding around your neighbourhood. Run, walk or jog any distance, anywhere, at any pace, then we will send you a beautiful medal for your achievement.

What's more, 10% of all entry fees will be donated to the Royal British Legion.

As a customer of BookitZone.com, you will also receive an exclusive 10% discount off your entry price. But hurry, places are limited. This is an annual event and places are usually very popular.

WHAT'S INVOLVED?

Run, walk or jog any distance, anywhere, at any pace on Sunday, 13th November 2022 (Remembrance Sunday).

We also accept evidence from treadmill activities.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

All participants will receive a beautiful white aluminum medal with a plain colour ribbon for their achievement.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER MY CHALLENGE?

Once you have completed your challenge, simply go to the running bug website and upload a screenshot of your activity on our secure submission form here. Once your evidence has been sent, you should be redirected to a confirmation page. Then that's it! Results will be verified and medals will be posted.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

We do accept entries from overseas participants. However, please note that is an extra charge to cover postage costs. There may also be extra import duty charges and customs taxes depending on your country. You are liable to pay such charges. The Running Bug is unable to advise on these charges as they differ from country to country. We recommend you contact your local tax office.
